Esau's Pottage

March 2-8: Genesis 25:29-34

Some pottage for a birthright,

What did Esau care.

For pleasure in a moment

He had given up his share.

We may esteem it foolish

That he valued it as naught,

But how often we trade blessings

For some pottage in a pot.
