The Battle Belongs to You

June 15-21: 1 Samuel 17:47

The battle is the Lord my God’s

It is not mine alone,

Nor was it David’s when he slew

Goliath with a stone.

But it is God of all the earth

Who fights the war for me,

The very God of Israel 

Who sets His people free.

So if my battle seems to be 

Too hard for me - it’s true,

But Lord with Thee I’ll overcome 

The battle belongs to You.
