The God of Hills and Valleys

June 29- July 5: 1 Kings 20:28

The Lord is God when He lifts high

And also it is so,

That He is God of all the earth

When I am brought down low.

Upon the hills He is my God

When life has lifted high,

And in the valleys He remains

When life breaths out in sigh.

The God of hills and valleys reigns

No matter where I stand,

There is no place I’ll find myself

That He cannot command.

Upon the hilltops one can’t stay

Forever at the peak,

Nor in the valleys can one dwell

Forever where it’s bleak.

But hills and valleys one must journey

As through life we trod,

How good to know, through hills and valleys

He is always God.
