Choose in the Light

May 18-24: Joshua 24:15

Choose in the light, before it is night,

The pathway your feet will trod.

When you can see, the path before thee,

Choose ye to follow our God.

For if you embark, when it has grown dark

And you have not charted your way,

You'll stumble in pitfalls, that you might have seen

Had you mapped in the light of the day.

Choose unto whom, in your heart you'll give room,

To whom you will list to obey,

That when other voices, call out your name,

You will not be led astray.

Then when shadows fall, and you can’t see at all,

The right way you’ll journey toward.

I can say for thee, but for my house and me,

We'll choose to follow the Lord.
