I Will Carry You

1 min read

Sept 28- Oct 4: Isaiah 46: 3-4; 49:5-16, 22; 66:12-13

Just as a mother holds her child

And shields them from the world that’s wild

And offers love so sweet and mild

…So I will carry you.

For all thy needs I will provide

With ample love I have supplied

And my embrace, you’re safe inside

... For I will carry you.

And for thee child, I have great plans

It is for thee the whole world stands

I’ve graven thee upon my hands

…That I might carry you.

And if you're driven here or there

I’ll send my servants for your care

To lift, and on their shoulder’s bear

…Thus I will carry you.

And past the day you're old and gray

My hands will be your guide and stay

And through it all, I’ll make a way

…As I carry you.

My love for you I can’t forget

For I was He who payed your debt

To be your Help and Advocate

…So I could carry you.

You can’t exhaust my tender care

Beyond my grasp there is no where

And all I have- I long to share

...So let me carry you.
