Look to Him

May 4-10: Numbers 21:6-9

The scriptures say by simple things

Are great things brought to pass,

And so we see as Moses lifted

Up a snake of brass.

The Lord had promise healing to

The souls who had been bit,

If they would let their minds behold

And turn their eyes to it.

A simple task, you’d think they all

Would walk their journey whole,

But still some perished, viewing not

The serpent on a pole.

Our Savior did what we could not

To set our spirits free.

For our renewal Jesus Christ

Was lifted on a tree

Our bitter cup the Savior emptied

Filled up to the brim,

And He will heal our wounded souls

If we will look to Him.
