Seek the Lord Early

August 24-30: Psalm 63:1

As new light climbs the mountain

And at its peak breaks forth

When sunlight brings the morning

Beginning day thenceforth,

How early I will seek Thee

For Thou will light my way

Thy word will light the shadows

That linger through the day.

And as the sun moves onward

And fills its station high

Thy word will bring sweet water

To a world that has run dry.

Yes, early I will seek Thee

And With Thee I'll begin

That I may have Thy spirit

As I journey on, within.
